A tall domed base begins and ends with beads enclosing blond and black spalting over red heartwood. The stem bulges and tapers up with vertical striations of blond and dark lines passing through a bead and coves.

Our lamps come fully assembled with shade packed separately. Shade need only be placed on lamp and secured with supplied nut and rubber washer.

Solid wooden bases are made in two parts (a bowl-turned base and spindle turned stem) from heavily figured and spalted material with natural variations, voids, carvings and occasional cracks- both filled and unfilled. Surface variation may include irregularities from sections of included outer bark

Shades are porcelain and hand thrown to a thinness that allows for varying rings of translucence.

Hardware is brass and electrical components are UL-listed and installed on site in accordance with NFPA 70, National Electrical Code® (2023), Article 410
