A stout base is penetrated through with blond patches and black, brown and red streaking perimeter lines.

The stem is half unaltered heart wood and half heavily patterned blond, red, and grey spalting that curves out towards small inclusions of outer bark.

A semi-translucent shade with vertices walls descends from a solid top to a ruffled lower lip.

Our lamps come fully assembled with shade packed separately. Shade need only be placed on lamp and secured with supplied nut and rubber washer.

Solid wooden bases are made in two parts (a bowl-turned base and spindle turned stem) from heavily figured and spalted material with natural variations, voids, carvings and occasional cracks- both filled and unfilled. Surface variation may include irregularities from sections of included outer bark

Shades are porcelain and hand thrown to a thinness that allows for varying rings of translucence.

Hardware is brass and electrical components are UL-listed and installed on site in accordance with NFPA 70, National Electrical Code® (2023), Article 410
