This tall stem has a streaking pattern  interrupted by knots and bark patches culminating with two pillowy beads. The domed base has a swirling grain remnant of a limb junction that cast the rest of the Spalted surface into a slight spiraling.

A semi-translucent shade tapers outward from a solid top to a ruffled lower lip.

Our lamps come fully assembled with shade packed separately. Shade need only be placed on lamp and secured with supplied nut and rubber washer.

Solid wooden bases are made in two parts (a bowl-turned base and spindle turned stem) from heavily figured and spalted material with natural variations, voids, carvings and occasional cracks- both filled and unfilled. Surface variation may include irregularities from sections of included outer bark

Shades are porcelain and hand thrown to a thinness that allows for varying rings of translucence.

Hardware is brass and electrical components are UL-listed and installed on site in accordance with NFPA 70, National Electrical Code® (2023), Article 410
