The burl was wrapped around a central steam that left a sharp image of red heartwood in the middle of the bowl.  Streaking along side is some iridescent grain of the traditional reddish yellow color. Beyond that is a chaotic webbing of burl patterning.

The rim is interrupted by an organic bark inclusion.
