Fine but numerous black pigment speckles the bottom of the bowl and mixes with fairly uniform stripes of yellow-pink heartwood and blonde spalting. The blond-stripe pattern continues to the interior and dominates one side. The remaining space is balanced by subtle streaking and deep tones.
